Sarah and I serve as full time intercessory missionaries in Kansas City, Missouri. The key difference between our function and that of a standard evangelist is we prioritize prayer to be foundation for missionary activities. Justice initiatives, evangelistic outreaches, looking after the poor and the oppressed, and works of service for the less fortunate are all birthed directly from the place of communion with Jesus. This ensures long-lasting labor without burnout, and heaven-initiated zeal, because we continually find out missions was God’s idea first!

Sarah and I firmly believe that we are to be those who are in the well of the missions movement. While it is tough, difficult, dangerous (at times!) and tiring, we delight ourselves in knowing Jesus has placed this privilege upon us.
However, we need your help.
Sarah and I do not receive a salary from IHOP-KC. We depend primarily on loyal supporters for our bills to be paid each month. We, like conventional missionaries, are dedicated to living a fasted lifestyle for the sake of the Gospel. Even then, we need those who will partner with us to ensure we are fully able to do what we feel called to do.
To manage our current financial situation, we have a ‘local services’ page to inform anyone that we are wanting to work when the need arises. Jesus has led us into full time ministry, and we will find ways to obey. We are committed to financial accountability; we are not interested in asking for support and then taking that check to Penera Bread! To prove this to anyone who is curious, we will promptly e-mail you our budget and recent receipts.
We joyfully invite you to prayerfully consider holding the rope for us in the ministry of the Gospel. Your gift or donation will not end up in a nebulous bank account devoid of purpose. When you give, you are partnering with us for the sake of the Gospel. Without aid, we cannot do what we are called to do. Outside help is vital to the work of missions, because without it, missions advancement creeps to a painful lull.
